It's About the Experience
Many people think "why pay for photos when I have a phone full of them?" Having portraits done with Jamie is not just about getting a photo that's not blurry. It's about the feeling of confidence induced through the event of being the center of attention, modeling outfits, highlighting talents. It's a chance to be creative, laugh and feel the VIP vibes. It's about the experience. The product of a professional photography session not only brings joy to those in the moment, but to family and friends for years, even generations to come. That's sharing with your kids, your grandchildren, your great grandchildren...and well you get the point. How many services or products can do that!
So, what does a joy spreading, confidence building, memory making keepsake experience cost?
Session investment is $100. This covers:
Up to1 hour in front of the camera. Most typical sessions run a bout an hour but may be longer depending on what it is we want to create. Additional time can be added. *Newborn sessions usually take 2 to 4 hours. It all depends on how our little friend is feeling that day. Soothing and calming time plus feeding breaks and diaper changes are uncontrollable variables.
A location of your choice within a 30-minute drive. Further destinations can be accommodated (travel fees may apply) You also have the choice of using my home studio for more formal or fine art portraiture. Let's chat!
Consultations to discuss your vision and determine how we can best convey your ideas through wardrobe, style and location etc.
Scouting missions I go check out new or unfamiliar locations. I also search out inspiration for the perfect props and styles to make your session perfect.
Unlimited outfit changes. It's your time, use it as you like. We will discuss how to maximize it and be as efficient as possible.
A password protected online proof gallery for viewing and choosing your favorites. Plus, you can share the gallery with anyone you like.
Image prep and processing Basically all computer related work that goes into a shoot like uploading and downloading, curating and culling, basic touch ups, gallery creating and emailing.
The End Product
How do you get your final completed photos? Great question.
Viewing A few days after your session you will receive an email with a link for your private password protected online proofing gallery. From there you can view your base images and decide which photos you must have.
Collection creation You will then choose and create your collection. You will have to ability to choose what want. This may include all digital downloads, prints, products, canvas, albums or a little of everything!
Artwork begins All chosen images will be scrutinized for perfection. All blemishes, spots, distractions, glare will be removed. Color, contrast and style will be adjusted and applied to really bring your photos to a beautiful completion.
Ready for Download Roughly 3 weeks after you select the images you want, a new completed gallery will be emailed to you containing all of your purchased digital files. You will be able to download your pieces of art from there directly to your personal device. All prints and products will have been ordered and in the works.

Portrait Session
Portrait Sessions are perfect for those looking for an individual session to highlight your personality, showcase what makes you...you, or to convey a style. For example, you may want to start or add to a modeling portfolio, create a persona for website/social media, or document dance, sports, or special skills in an artful meaningful way. Newborns are an especially perfect reason to schedule a photo shoot.
The Portrait Session makes a great gift for teens, tweens, and new mothers. It is a chance to show the world who you are in a fun and safe environment. The Portrait session is a wonderful way to build confidence and my clients always walk away feeling like rock stars.
Traditional Session
A traditional session includes family, children, pets, engagement and small events (pre-prom, birthday party etc.)
Head Shot
If you are looking for a basic headshot, clean and simple, this is the best choice for you. This session is short and sweet at about 20-30 minutes
Inspire Session
This session is for those who have been inspired or want to inspire. This session, is where we can get creative and design fine art that will wow the world. The inspire session is more involved. There is usually a concept that may require hair or makeup, particular clothes, special lighting and intense post processing to develop the idea to its fullest.

Consultations to go over clothes and outfit ideas, hair and accessories that will make your concept come to fruition. I welcome you to share inspiration.

Assistance with hair and makeup. I am not a professional makeup artist or hair stylist, but I have the talent and creativity to visualize what we need to do to design your look. If you need me to work on hair and makeup, let me know and we can schedule in more time if needed. (May incur an additional fee)

Follow Up consultation to determine the final product, discuss images to use or additional edits needed
